围棋规则

The Board

Played on a grid (9×9, 13×13, or 19×19). Stones go on intersections. Black moves first.

Liberties & Capture

Each stone or group needs adjacent open points (liberties). Fill all liberties of an enemy group to capture and remove it.

Ko

You can't recreate the exact previous board position. Prevents infinite loops.

Suicide

Can't place a stone with zero liberties unless it captures enemy stones first.

Passing & Scoring

Pass instead of placing. Two passes end the game. Score = stones + territory + captures. White gets +7.5 komi.

Strategy

• Corners first, then edges, then center
• Groups with two "eyes" can't be captured
• Cut enemy groups to limit survival
